Outside In | Mimi Wyche Solo Exhibition

Art & Light Gallery is pleased to present Outside In, a solo exhibition of work by Greenville, SC artist Mimi Wyche, launching on the Art & Light website and in the gallery at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 31 with an opening reception on Friday, November 3 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Mimi Wyche uses oil and cold wax medium to paint loose landscapes that hover somewhere in between representation and abstraction. Color and shape are driven by an emotional and internal response to lived experience, while representing a universal connection to the visual world. Wyche strives to connect the viewer to her deepest impulses and contradictions, using painting as a vehicle to express her desire to find a connection to the world at large.
