“Our Feathered Friends” student artwork at the Museum of York County
An exhibition of local student artwork featuring the birds of the Carolina Piedmont comes to the Museum of York County in Rock Hill December 3rd – March 26th. Embodying the museum’s enduring theme of the convergence of art and nature, “Our Feathered Friends” is an exhibit of two-dimensional work by students from 11 York County elementary schools. Each of the school’s art teachers developed a lesson around the topic of native S.C. birds, integrating science and social studies standards into the visual art curriculum. Free with museum admission.
