Arts Daily / Othello

Suspicion, manipulation and conspiracy. The South Carolina School of the Arts at Anderson University presents Shakespeare’s classic tragedy Othello. Featuring technological enhancements and a contemporary setting, director Rob Homer-Drummond is calling the play “Othello 2020.” This Orwellian themed, powerful plot testifies to the timelessness and universal nature of Shakespeare and his relevance to our culture today.

Othello will be presented in Belk Theatre of the Rainey Fine Arts Center on Wednesday, February 28th, Thursday March 1st, and Friday, March 2nd at 7:30pm and Saturday, March 3rd at 2:00pm and 7:30pm.
