Opening Reception for “WELL SUITED: The Costumes of Alonzo V. Wilson for HBO’s® ‘Treme'”

McKissick Museum in Columbia celebrates the spirit of resilience with the kick off of the exhibition “WELL SUITED: The Costumes of Alonzo V. Wilson for HBO’s Treme” August 1 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. This year-long exhibition showcases nine exquisitely crafted Mardi Gras Indian suits from select characters of this influential series and includes design sketches, film excerpts, video interviews with cast and costumers and behind-the-scenes photography. Costume Designer Alonzo V. Wilson and Executive Producer Nina K. Noble will share stories about the making of Treme and its elaborate costumes. This opening reception includes delicacies from Bourbon and music by the Amos Hoffman & Sam Edwards Duo. The exhibition runs until July 21, 2018. Free.
