OLLI at Clemson Presents Greenville Symphony Orchestra: Legends, Mysteries, Miracles

Michael Daugherty says of his piece “Metropolis Symphony,” that it is a “musical response to the myth of Superman, the legendary hero of comic books.” OLLI at Clemson takes a trip to the Greenville Symphony Orchestra for Legends, Mysteries, Miracles, November 8. The program will also explore the mystery of life and death in Thofannidis’ “highly spiritual Rainbow Body.” The event finishes with a powerful presentation of Tchaikovsky’s Ballet music. Participants will attend a hour-long pre-concert talk providing a more in-depth look at what the evening holds. Price includes event ticket and transportation from Clemson.
