OLLI at Clemson Presents Gods and Heroes: Myths and Art

OLLI at Clemson University compares the myths of several cultures as well as character traits of their heroes, and connections to the natural world in “Gods and Heroes: Myths and Art,” Wednesdays September 16th through 30th. This interactive series features the curatorial staff and extensive collections of the Cleveland Museum of Art. Topics include bronze sculptures, coins, ceramic vessels, and a carved marble sarcophagus to investigate the exploits of Herakles, Athena, Perseus, Orestes, and others who vividly populated the imagination of the classical Western world.
