NW Dance Project in Concert with Betsy Blackmon Dance Company
You won’t want to miss this gala concert featuring performances by the esteemed NW Dance Project and a reprise presentation by our student dancers of new works set during the company’s spring semester residency. Founded in 2004 by acclaimed dancer, mentor and choreographer Sarah Slipper, NW Dance Project is dedicated to the creation and performance of innovative, new contemporary dance works from established and emerging dance makers, and has fostered the creation of over 400 original dance works to date. The company’s dedication to providing the resources and creative room needed to realize new, inspired dance works led Dance International Magazine to proclaim NW Dance Project is “changing the way dance is created.”
