North Charleston City Gallery Exhibit – Works by Robert Maniscalco & Keith VanZant
The North Charleston City Gallery presents works by Robert Maniscalco & Keith VanZant, on view December 3-31. Maniscalo traveled to Haiti last November as part of a Water Missions International (WMI) team, where he assisted in the group’s missionary work to process and bring fresh water to areas devastated by famine and water shortages. His exhibit, The Quench Project: Paintings Inspired by a Vision Trip to Haiti, features a collection of paintings created from the photos, sketches, and interviews conducted during his travels. The works express hope and renewal and focus on the impact of WMI’s living water message and world-wide relief efforts. Keith VanZant, of Goose Creek, SC, shows a collection of oil paintings featuring a variety of subjects, including Lowcountry scenes and portraits. Reception December 3rd from 5 to 7 pm.
