USC Lancaster Native American Studies Center presents the film The Cherokee Word for Water March 19 at 6 p.m. at Bundy Auditorium. Based on a true story, the film tells the story of Wilma Mankiller and her fight for clean water in rural Oklahoma during the 1980s, prior to becoming the first female Chief in Cherokee Nation. Free.
