Nathan Lee in Concert
First Presbyterian Church of Myrtle Beach presents Nathan Lee in concert February 21. At the age of 15, Lee won First Award in the 2016 Young Concert Artists International auditions, as well as 14 special awards. His engagements this season include his Kennedy Center debut on the 39th Young Concert Artists Series in Washington, DC, recitals at the Univ. of Illinois’ Kannert Center, Rockefeller University, on the Harriman-Jewell Series, (MO), at the Port Washington Library, and as soloist with the Seattle Symphony in Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 1. Among the awards awarded to Lee are the Korean Concert Society Award, which provides support for his Kennedy Center debut, the Paul A. Fish Memorial award, providing support for the New York debut; and the Embassy Series award in Washington DC.
