MUSC Arts in Healing and Redux Present “Studies Show…” Exhibit
Redux Contemporary Art Center and MUSC Health Arts in Healing program are pleased to announce they will be exhibiting artworks form MUSC’s permanent collection from July 29 through September 10. The exhibit, “Studies Show…,” aims to highlight Redux’s Outreach Program and raise awareness about MUSC Health’s Arts in Healing program. In the past, the arts have seemingly been disconnected from health care but today, new research and the development of artistic interventions in health care environments create a symphony of activities designed to support healing. “Studies Show…” highlights artworks from the Arts In Healing’s collection alongside medical research to both justify and advocate for the inherent healing powers of the arts. Opening reception July 29 from 5-8 p.m.
