MLK Tribute Jr. Concert – Remembrance

Lowcountry Voices (LCV), a multicultural and ethnically diverse choral performing arts organization, will mark their return to the stage since March 2020 during this musical celebration. Under the dynamic direction of Nathan L. Nelson, the group will pay tribute to the memory and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., as well as those family and community members we have lost over the course the COVID-19 pandemic, with songs of hope, strength, perseverance, and thanksgiving. The program will offer a mix of spirituals and traditional and modern gospel, including one of Dr. King’s favorite songs, “If I Can Help Somebody.” Face coverings are required, and all attendees must show proof of vaccination to be admitted. Free w/ advance ticket.
