March Quilting Programs Continue With Lecture on Feed Sack Fabrics

“Repair, reuse, make do, and don’t throw anything away” was a common motto during the Great Depression. This way of thinking applied to many aspects of life, including the creation and use of textiles. Join us on Tuesday, March 16th at 1 p.m. as we discuss how feed and flour sacks were reused to make a variety of items around the house, including quilts and clothing. The program will be held at the Horry County Museum located at 805 Main Street, Conway SC and is free; seating will be available.
