Lunch & Learn: Thomas Chandler and American Fancy
Thomas Chandler is considered to be one of the most skilled potters to work in Edgefield, South Carolina. Creating hundreds of vessels, Chandler is well known for many things, including his distinct decorative style. Lunch & Learn brings guest curator Phil Wingard to McKissick Museum June 5 at noon to discuss the American Fancy Movement – the esthetic movement that inspired Chandler and his “Swag and Tassel” style. Bring your lunch and learn with McKissick Museum. Lunch and Learn Programs are free and open to the public, but space is limited.
