Lisa Sain Odom, Soprano

Dr. Lisa Odom is an Assistant Professor of Music at Clemson University. A versatile singer and actor, she holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Vocal Performance. Odom has performed numerous opera and musical theatre roles including Julie Jordan (Carousel); Baker’s Wife (Into the Woods); and Musetta (La Boheme). She also performs opera, musical theatre, and jazz in concert with her soprano trio The Blonde, the Brunette and the Redhead. Odom is a vocal coach who has worked on shows including Rent, She Loves Me, and Bright Star and has taught private vocal students currently working in regional theatre, Disney, and Broadway. As a teacher, she was selected for the prestigious National Association of Teachers of Singing Intern program and in 2021 was awarded the NATS Vocal Pedagogy award.
