Liminal Spaces Art Exhibit

Clemson University Center for Visual Arts presents “Liminal Spaces,” on display through March 1, 2016, 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m., in Sikes Hall, Ground Floor, Clemson University. The exhibition features a collection of prints created by printmaking students in response to readings from the chapter “Place” from J. Robertson and C. McDaniel’s book, “Themes of Contemporary Art,” second edition. Topics within the chapter included private and public spaces, historical places and real or simulated virtual places. “Liminal Spaces” explores a wide range of issues about “Place” from varying perspectives. All works in the exhibition are on loan from recently retired Clemson University printmaking faculty Sydney A. Cross and not for sale.
