Native American public speaker, journalist and author Vincent Schilling, the author of Native Musicians in the Groove and other titles, has been a journalist and editor in the fields of arts and entertainment for approximately 20 years and in that time has covered a plethora of topics on Indigenous musical artists all over the world. He has covered nearly every genre of music including hip-hop, country, reggae, electronic and traditional. He has interviewed Grammy Award-winning artists as well as artists at every stage of their careers. Join us as we explore the range of musical artists all over Indian Country. This program, presented by the University of South Carolina Lancaster’s Native American Studies Center on Friday, Nov. 22 at noon, will be held virtually. Register to attend via Zoom.
