Keep on the Sunny Side: The Carter Family in Song

Music programs at the L.W. Paul Living History Farm continue with “Keep on the Sunny Side” from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. July 17. Regarded as one of the most influential groups in country music, the Carter Family recorded hundreds of folk songs from the South beginning in the 1920s. Museum staff and volunteers will perform music from the original Carter Family in their traditional style. This program is free, but space is limited and reservations are required.
