Joye in Aiken Presents Organist Paul Jacobs
The annual Joye in Aiken Performing Arts Festival and Outreach Program returns March 5-12, with some familiar names, some up-and-coming stars, and an even more musicianship and talent. For the first time, the Festival will expand its reach to include both artists from The Juilliard School, and other musicians of world-class caliber selected by internationally renowned pianist and Juilliard alumna Elizabeth Joy Roe, Joye in Aiken’s 2016 Festival Curator. Paul Jacobs, Grammy-winning organist and Chair of Dullards Organ Department, will perform March 5th at 8 pm at St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church, in Aiken. He will also perform March 6th at 4 pm at the Sacred Heart Cultural Center in Augusta, Georgia.
