Jonathan Green Speaks at Launch of Tours Program
Renowned Artist Jonathan Green will speak at SERCO’s PREVUE, the launch of Lower Richland Heritage Corridor Tours, April 25th at the Historic Harriet Barber House in Hopkins, SC. The new package tours program from SERCO (South East Rural Community Outreach), in partnership with the Midlands Authority for Conventions, Sports and Tourism, features Lower Richland Heritage Corridor sites. Guests will experience a presentation by Jonathan Green, renowned artist and rice crop re-vitalization advocate; view displays of photos, documents and artifacts from the historic sites that will be a part of the tour options, and have a lunch of local foods prepared by Executive Chef Herbert Sims of Gadsden, and Chef J. Adams of Hopkins. Staff from the Midlands Authority for Conventions, Sports and Tourism will be present to discuss their roles of educating potential visitors of the area’s attributes, and promoting tourism. The deadline to register is April 20th.
