Is There Life After High School?

Is There Life After High School? That’s the question in an intimate revue-style musical (suggested by Ralph Keyes’ book of the same title) in which actors play multiple roles as adults reminiscing at a high school class reunion. Common high school experiences are explored through music and monologue, including: memories and growing up (“The Kid Inside”); handling the pinnacle of personal achievement (“Diary of A Homecoming Queen”); the travails of marching band (“Thousands of Trumpets”); and brotherhood and brews (“Beer”). It’s a funny, poignant, relatable look at a formative time, with music and lyrics by Craig Carnelia and book by Jeffrey Kindley. Electric City Playhouse in Anderson presents Is There Life After High School?, July 24th through August 2nd. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 3:00 pm. Directed by Dr. David Sollish and produced by special arrangement with Samuel French.
