Holy City Messiah – Mount Pleasant

The Messiah remains Handel’s best-known work, and few excerpts are familiar to as many as his “Hallelujah!” It’s the time of year many enjoy Handel’s sacred oratorio, which has long been associated with good will and charity. You can become a part of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra’s holiday tradition as Maestro Ken Lam conducts their version, Holy City Messiah, with the CSO Chamber Chorus and four guest soloists at three beautiful churches around Charleston. December 14th, the performance will be held at East Cooper Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant.
