Hartness Organ Series Presents Caroline Robinson in Concert

Furman University will present a concert featuring Greenville native and emerging young star organist Caroline Robinson, February 11 at 8 p.m. in Daniel Memorial Chapel, on the Greenville campus, as part of the Furman Hartness Organ Series. Caroline Robinson is considered one of the rising stars of her generation in the world of organ performance. A graduate of the prestigious Curtis Institute of Music (Philadelphia), she was also the recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship for organ study in France. The recital will be performed on Furman’s Hartness Organ (Opus 121 of C.B. Fisk Organ Builders) and features works by Sweelinck, Lübeck, J.S. Bach, Widor, Duruflé, and Calvin Hampton.
