Greenville Concert Band: “America, the Free and the Brave”

The history of America is filled with the stories of heroes who sacrificed for the safety of our country. The Greenville Concert Band celebrates American heroes with a free performance of Aaron Copland’s A Lincoln Portrait, with narration by WSPA TV News Anchor Gordon Dill, Mark Camphouse’s Symphonic Prelude: The Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer, and other great works of American spirit! This project is funded in part by the South Carolina Arts Commission which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts, and by the Metropolitan Arts Council which receives support from the City of Greenville, BMW Manufacturing Company, SEW Eurodrive and the SC Arts Commission.
