Grand Jeté 2021 – Virtual Student Ballet Competition
During Grand Jeté, presented by the SC Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities, ballet students ages 10-19 compete for cash prizes, participate in ballet and modern master classes, and have the opportunity to be recruited by some of the nation’s top dance programs. This is one of the only events in South Carolina where high school juniors and seniors can share their dance talents with so many recruiters in one place. SC dance teachers can also participate in workshops on beginning, intermediate and advanced ballet and modern dance led by industry professionals. All events during Grand Jeté weekend will be held virtually on Friday, March 19 through Sunday, March 21, 2021. Non-competitors are welcome to participate in master classes or webinars.
