Graham Art Park – RFQ

Alamance Arts in Graham, North Carolina is creating a park environment to serve as an educational and interactive setting for area children. Through child friendly sculptures, sound sculptures, and educational gardens, the project will seek to improve the quality of life in our community, as well as inspire the creative minds of area youth. An RFQ has been issued for artists in NC, SC, GA, VA, TN, KY and FL to integrate permanent sculpture into the design of the new Art Park next to Alamance Arts, the Graham Public Library, and the Children’s Museum of Alamance County. Upon selection, artists will be put under contract to develop proposals and for fabrication, delivery and installation. The total art budget is $44,000 for two (2) sound sculptures and one (1) tunnel sculpture. 2-3 artists may be selected. There is no fee to apply. The deadline is October 10.
