Gospel and Gullah in Georgetown: Street Fair
Gospel and Gullah in Georgetown is a multiple media praise music and cultural arts festival which spotlights talent at performance and other arts venues. April 18th features an open-air street fair with the Top Gullah Chef Cook-off, Gullah Artisans Court and children’s pavilion, at the Cultural Council of Georgetown County. With a strong focus on gospel music and regional Gullah Geechee culture, the event will also feature three live concerts, public art classes with master painters, and screenings of critically-acclaimed documentary films about gospel music from around the world. Presented by The Mitney Project, Cultural Council of Georgetown County, Georgetown County Tourism Office, and Georgetown Business Association.
