Gospel and Gullah in Georgetown: Evening Concerts

Gospel and Gullah in Georgetown is a multiple media praise music and cultural arts festival which spotlights talent at performance and other arts venues. With a strong focus on gospel music and regional Gullah Geechee culture, the event will feature three live concerts, public art classes with master painters, an open-air street fair with the Top Gullah Chef Cook-off, Gullah Artisans Court and children’s pavilion, as well as screenings of critically-acclaimed documentary films about gospel music from around the world.  Pure-N-Heart Movement is in concert April 17, and Grammy nominee and Stellar award winner Vickie Winans and the Capital City Chorale will perform April 18. Both concerts begin at 7pm at Lighthouse of Jesus Christ Church. Presented by The Mitney Project, Cultural Council of Georgetown County, Georgetown County Tourism Office, and Georgetown Business Association.
