George Washington Chautauqua History Alive Show
Nationally acclaimed historical interpreter Ron Carnegie – “the” George Washington at Colonial Williamsburg since 2005 – appears as the courageous military leader and President at this Chautauqua History Alive Show February 3-4 at 2 p.m. at Wade Hampton High School auditorium. Fearless in battle and also a canny political genius, Washington could have been King, but he chose to be a citizen. Some of Washington’s most courageous acts occurred after the battles were over and the creation of a nation began. The Sunday show will be sign-interpreted. Free.
