Gaston Locklear “Passages”

“Passages” is a solo exhibition featuring the works of Gaston Locklear, on view May 5th through July 2nd at ARTSPACE 506 in North Myrtle Beach. The works in this show, created over the course of the last decade, highlight Locklear’s interest in the way in which painting, combined with objects and raw materials, can be used to explore the impact of time on our understanding of ourselves and the world around us. Using a variety of techniques including thick and thin painting, and multi-media assemblage, Locklear has developed an artistic style that explores new conceptual processes through which to view the world as he sees it. The exhibit is free and open Wednesday – Saturday 11 am to 6 pm.
