Furman University Presents Akropolis Reed Quintet
The Furman Department of Music will host a concert featuring the Akropolis Reed Quintet February 7 at 8 p.m. in Daniel Recital Hall on the campus in Greenville. Akropolis takes listeners on extraordinary musical adventures, performing innovative repertoire with acclaimed precision. Founded in 2009 at the University of Michigan, Akropolis was the first reed quintet to win the Fischoff Gold Medal as part of the nation’s largest chamber music competition. Presented by the Furman University Partners in the Arts initiative and funded generously by the Duke Endowment. Free.
