Furman Singers Close Spring Tour With Two Concerts

The Furman Singers will close their spring tour with concerts March 13 – 14 in Daniel Chapel on the Furman campus, Greenville, S.C. The performances by the 70-voice Singers are conducted by Hugh Ferguson Floyd and student conductors. Continuing a tradition of performance over 70 years old, the Singers will present traditional favorites and new choral music from both the sacred and secular repertoire including “Prayers from the Ark” by Ivor R. Davies. The Singers are accompanied by Furman music professor and university organist Charles Tompkins and student organist Kevin Edens. Tickets $5-$12.
