Furman Class of 2016 Presents Art Exhibition

Art by nine Furman University seniors will be on display April 11-May 6 in Thompson Gallery of the Roe Art Building on campus in Greenville, S.C. The exhibition, “Can You Hear Me Now?” is a collection of works based on the artists’ own experiences and relationships. Using mixed media, mixed processes, and social experiments, the artists capture personal struggles, childhood memories, and challenges faced by the elder community, among other themes. Thompson Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The gallery will also be open Saturday May 7th from 10am to 3pm. A reception honoring the artists is set for Tuesday, April 12, 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Roe Art Building.
