Found Family: Queerness and Community in the South
Exhibition and Opening Reception
Join us for the opening reception of Found Family: Queerness and Community in the South, Sept. 27 at the Thompson Gallery in the Roe Art Building, Furman University. This exhibition is a collaboration between the Thompson Gallery and the Queer Arts Initiative. It features the work of 14 Queer artists from the South. This event begins with an exhibition preview at 6 p.m., which is followed by a talk by the exhibition’s Jury Chair, Marty Epp-Carter at 6:30 p.m. Drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served. The event is free.
