FOLKFabulous@theFair 2018: Day Eleven
FOLKFabulous@theFair returns to the SC State Fair in October. This year’s festival celebrates our state’s vibrant pottery traditions. Daily activities include the exhibit, Pottery in South Carolina, a Pottery Boneyard by the Newberry Arts Center and SC Clay Conference, and an oral history project, Share Your Fair Story. For Day 11 on October 20 (11 a.m. – 6 p.m.), the Newberry Arts Center & SC Clay Conference will offer hands-on experiences & works for sale. The Millbilly Three will perform on the WLTX Stage at 3 p.m. and 5:30pm. Between concerts, Freddie Vanderford and apprentices Mattie Phifer Suber & David “Shag” Stepp will host a Harmonica Workshop in the Rosewoods Building. Harmonicas provided.
