Festifall at Walnut Grove Plantation
Walnut Grove Plantation comes to life the first weekend in October as over 100 re-enactors, storytellers and artisans transform the 1767 homestead into a living colonial village. The event begins on Saturday October 3 and continues through Sunday October 4 with music, dancing, toy making, cooking, weaving, woodworking, basketry, candle dipping, and more. Historic re-enactments of loyalist partisan William Cunningham’s deadly 1781 raid on the Plantation will also take place on both days. Festifall is part of Upstate Revolutionary War Weekend and is presented in partnership with Cowpens National Battlefield, Kings Mountain National Military Park, and the City of Gaffney.
