Conversations with a Curator in the Archives: Celebrating Women of Charleston

For Part 2 of Celebrating Women of Charleston, Chief Curator and Archivist Jennifer McCormick will showcase artwork found in the Museum’s Archives by some of the lesser-known female artists of the Charleston Renaissance. Artists will include Edith Fraser, Minnie Mikell, Mary Wilson Ball, and Leila Waring.

Please join McCormick for this continuation of last year’s Part 1 with an exclusive tour behind the doors of the Archives to view these incredible creations by women of Charleston.

Conversations with a Curator allows visitors a chance to have an in-depth look at an object or exhibit in the Museum galleries, ask questions and spark conversations. The Charleston Museum’s collections are both extraordinary and diverse.
