Concurrent Solo Exhibits: Kathryn Parker and Jennifer Kirk Hamilton

Light and Life: Scenes of the Lowcountry is a collection of paintings created intuitively, from impressions and memories more than photos. Using vibrant, saturated colors and energetic brushwork, Kathryn Parker’s works convey what calls to her heart.
In If Color Could Talk, Would it Move? Would it Walk?, artist Jennifer Kirk Hamilton presents acrylic and oil paintings inspired by the ordinary, banal task of dog walking. Incorporating color and dripping pigments, she creates compelling pieces to inspire, energize, and mesmerize.
