Columbia Museum of Art Evening for Educators

Educators from across the state are invited to an evening of art, wine, and nibbles as they enjoy a private look at newly opened exhibition Reverent Ornament: Art from the Islamic World. Dr. Roger Deal, Cleora Toole Murray Chair in history at USC Aiken, provides historical context about the work on view in the exhibition. Educators are invited to explore the galleries, learn about new tours, and try out lesson plan materials focusing on Reverent Ornament. Attendees receive documentation for professional development renewal credit.

Free. Registration required as space is limited.
