CofC Orchestra Fall Concert Featuring “The Planets”

The College of Charleston Orchestra, conducted by Yuriy Bekker, will present its fall concert featuring Gustav Holst’s “The Planets, Op. 32.” Composed in 1917, this monumental work is a suite of movements, each named after a planet in our Solar System and its corresponding astrological character. This powerful and evocative piece will showcase the artistry of our institution’s excellent orchestra.
