Coastal Carolina University’s “Marisol”

There’s a war in heaven, God is dying, and He’s taking the universe with him. José Rivera’s 1993 Obie-Award-winning play, “Marisol,” is the story of a young woman from the Bronx who is rich with the promise and the disappointments not only of life in New York, but of life itself — a life that seems to be mysteriously marked by the transcendent. Coastal Carolina University presents “Marisol,” November 18th in the Edwards Black Box Theater, on campus in Conway.
