Charleston Carifest Caribbean Carnival

Charleston Carifest is a celebration of Caribbean food, music and masquerades. June 13 is “Carnival Day” the day with three events showcasing the culture and heritage of the Caribbean and presented as a gift to the community to embrace unity in diversity. June is Caribbean American Heritage Month and you are invited to the Carnival Street Parade in downtown Charleston, followed by the Festival celebration in Brittle Bank with live Soca and Reggae Artists, Steel band, calypso music, Caribbean food and drinks, cultural dancers and more. The celebration in the park is followed by an All White Party with proceeds to benefit the Children’s Steel Band Project.
