Colonial Charleston presents Charleston 1781: Family Interactive Theatre June 29 at 9:30 a.m. at the Old Exchange Building. The tea has been dumped in the Cooper, the battle on Sullivan’s Island has passed, it’s 1781, and the Redcoats are back! Explore historical settings and converse with characters of the past. See the dungeon where Patriots are kept, visit with Elizabeth Heyward inside the home of a Declaration signer, and become part of the Revolution as you muster with the Continental Army – but do avoid British capture! This program is for all ages and includes three historic properties. $15 per guest.
