Chapin Theatre Company Presents “Noises Off”

Chapin Theatre Company presents Michael Frayn’s classic British comedy, “Noises Off,” at Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College in Irmo, September 11-20. Often called the funniest farce ever written, “Noises Off” offers a manic menagerie of itinerant actors rehearsing a flop called “Nothing’s On.” Slamming doors, on- and offstage intrigue, and errant plates of sardines all figure into the plot of this hilarious story. Winner of the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Play and a Tony Award nominee, “This dizzy, well-known romp is [a] festival of delirium,” said The New York Times. Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 3pm. Directed by Glenn Farr. Note: This show is rated PG-13.
