Carolina Master Chorale: “Tango in Buenos Aires” – Myrtle Beach
Martin Palmeri, born in Buenos Aires in 1965, is a composer, pianist, choirmaster, and orchestra conductor. His internationally-renowned “Tango Mass” for choir, soprano soloist, and bandoneon will be performed by the Carolina Master Chorale, under the direction of Tim Koch, director of choral activities at Coastal Carolina University. The program, “Tango in Buenos Aires,” also features other South American music, complete with tango dancers. Performances are April 25th at 4 p.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church in North Myrtle Beach; and April 26th at 4 p.m. at the Trinity Church in Myrtle Beach.
