Candlelight Concert at the Unitarian Church in Charleston
The Unitarian Church in Charleston presents a Candlelight Concert featuring the combined choirs of the Unitarian Church and Circular Congregational Church, April 29 at 7:30, under the direction of Johanna Evenson and Marilyn Taylor. The program features Fauré’s Requiem and Dvorak’s “Going Home” from his Ninth Symphony, plus Bach’s “Sheep May Safely Graze” and E. Chausson’s “Chanson Perpetuelle.”Soloists include Rebecca Mary Darling, Cesar Lozada, and Faith Sherman. A reception in Gage Hall follows the concert. Requested donation of $15/adult, $10/student/children free. Proceeds support the work of Music Battery, a non-profit organization helping North Charleston middle school students.
