What you need to know for the 2022 competition
Prompt: What does rural South Carolina mean to you? Artists are encouraged to think outside the box and consider non-traditional definitions of rural S.C.
Deadline: May 31, 2022
All two-dimensional visual art forms/photography pieces are eligible. This includes but is not limited to watercolor work, photos, digitally altered pieces, paintings, drawings, illustrations, and NFT artwork that is printable.
The winners will be determined by a panel of local artists. Winners will be announced in late June.

• First Place: $500 and recognition as the artist for the official design of SCORH’s annual National Rural Health Day celebration
• Second Place: $300
• Third Place: $200
