Brahms 2nd Symphony

Music Director Ken Lam conducts the Charleston Symphony Orchestra in Johannes Brahms’ joyous Symphony No. 2 January 5 and 6 at the Charleston Gaillard Center. The program opens with Dvořák’s tone poem, Midday Witch, based on an eerie Czech folktale. The first half concludes with Robert Schumann’s beautiful and lyrical Cello Concerto in A minor, featuring Principal Cellist Norbert Lewandowski. Tickets $26-$104.
