Blythewood Butterfly Festival
The Blythewood Butterfly Festival will celebrate the endangered Monarch butterfly through both the visual and performing arts, September 5th at Doko Meadows Park and Conference Center. The festival will also feature a series of fun art-based activities and events as well as food vendors. A major component of the festival will be the integration of the arts to help facilitate educating the Blythewood community concerning the Monarch’s life cycle and how the community can play an active role in saving and sustaining the species as they migrate through Blythewood and South Carolina.
