Blythewood Butterfly Festival

The 2017 Blythewood Butterfly Festival will offer a day of fun and celebration honoring nature’s most beautiful pollinator, the butterfly. Activities include a Storybook & Character Garden, music, crafts, local artisans, face painting and a Caterpillar Petting Zoo. Proceeds benefit the nonprofit Camp Discovery, which provides hands-on learning experiences for children who may never see a forest, wade in a creek or run through a meadow. The festival takes place May 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Doko Meadows Park. Free.
